This program was developed by Independent Baptist people for Independent Baptist Churches.

          We teach from the King James Bible and are trying to reach our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

      King’s Kids has carefully selected Bible verses to be memorized and Scripture portions are taught to prove doctrinal truths, after all ,God promises that His Word will not return void, but will accomplish its purpose ( Isaiah 55:11).  Memory work is chosen to establish a personal relationship between each clubber and Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, build up clubbers in bible knowledge, and instill in them a love and respect for God and His Word.

     Kings Kids is a Bible centered youth oriented weekday club – program which is basically different from many other weekly youth programs.  All  King’s kids Clubs are organized and controlled by the local church. They are skillfully and prayerfully operated by local church leaders as an evangelistic arm of the church.  Through King’s Kids our church reaches into the community for young people, whom we seek to win to Christ and establish in the Christian faith.

      Our club’s effectiveness depends upon the preparation and spiritual depth of our leaders. It is  not difficult to become a King’s Kids leader.  The work and knowledge required are relatively simple.

        An effective leader:

- Saved, baptized, and a member of the church.

- Loves the souls of young people.

- Maintain a prayer life.

- Study the Word of God

- Is knowledgeable in the King’s Kids program and its methods.

      The Bible says,” Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

      Realizing that young people today are confronted with more difficult choices than ever before, our Bible- based program seeks to establish them on a firm Biblical foundation which will provide direction for their daily lives.  Each of these boys and girls is very special to us, and to God.  We want our King’s Kids Clubbers to realize this, and then lead meaningful, rewarding lives.

      The weekly club meeting is divided into three periods:

- Game Time

- Handbook Time

- Council Time

     Young people are attached to the unique game period of King’s Kids and then are challenged to achievement in Bible memorization.

     Our memory program is designed to establish a personal relationship to God as Savior, build up the clubber in Bible knowledge and teach a love and respect for God and His Word.

The Flyers Club – ages 3 – 5 year olds

It is designed for their age group to enjoy spending time in God’s Word and begin learning about the Lord.  They will be with children their own age and encouraged to start reading the Bible for themselves.

King’s Kids- First- Sixth Grade

They will have ribbons that hang from the wall to show their progress and encourage them to try their best.  There will be ribbons for each level attained. Memorization and learning about God is what is stressed.

Seventh –Eight Grade

It is easy for young people to loose interest in God. The Trac Club is to encourage them to get into God’s Word and want to learn what God has for them through Jesus Christ. Many different aspects will be stressed to develop a personal daily walk with God.
